DISCIPLINE
Have you ever
felt short of
time ? Actually, time is the
only thing everyone
has in common.Everyone has
the same supply
of hours and
minutes with which
to face the
day. How that “ currency “ of
time is spent
often means the
difference SUCCESS and
FAILURE. Those who have
learned to control
time ---to discipline it ---are
those who avoid
the STRESS of
having to do
things at the
last minute and
the authority that
the URGENT has
over them.
Most of
us don”t need
more time ; we need
to use our
time better . DISCIPLINE is
a critical SKILL
for any teacher . CAPTURE YOUR
LOOSE MINUTES , and you
will bring your
hours under control. SCHEDULE YOUR
TIME. Give yourself TIME
PARAMETER and work
within that allotted
time.Look for other
time—wasters. For example ,
organize the space
where you study
and teach to
make your movements
more efficient.NEVER DO
ANYTHING TWICE ; DO IT
RIGHT THE FIRST
TIME.
Bring yourself
under control , and your
classroom will follow.
“ I WASTED
TIME ; NOW TIME
DOTH WASTE ME. “--- William Shakesspeare
