CREATIVITY
Some of the
most creative students
in your classroom
are often some
of the most
silent. Creativity is like
an underground stream.It
must be tapped.But
once it is
discovered , it is a constant
source of refreshment. Your job
is to make
the discovery---to tap
the stream of
creative talent and
bring it to
the surface.
First, you must
find it. Giving opportunity
for creative efforts
is a place
to start. CLASS PROJECTS , PERSONAL ASSIGNMENTS , GROUP
ACTIVITY----these are the
tools of investigation that
could reveal the
hidden talents in
your classroom.
Then
you must reward it.CREATIVE
PEOPLE ARE USUALLY
INSECURE ABOUT THEIR
ABILITY ABOUT THEIR
ABILITIES.They need constant
affirmation. A word , a note
, or
public recognition can
be the spark
that ignites the
fire of creativity
in that silent
student.
Like a
COACH watching players
on the field ,
you look for
the standout. And then
you make a
PERSONAL EFFORT to
work with his
or her natural
talent until it
graduates into EXCELLENCE. With a
little bit of
ATTENTION , THAT SILENT STUDENT
may make the
loudest impression.
“ THE GREATEST
USE OF A LIFE
IS TO SPEND
IT FOR SOMETHING
THAT OUTLASTS IT. “ -----William James.
