MATURITY
You might as
well admit it: some
things really bug
you ! Often, it”s not
the major problems
that stunt your
personal growth ; it”s the
minors. It”s the little
things that get
under your skin
like a splinter
of wood. That tiny
fragment can cause
severe infection.
MATURITY is
learning to deal
with the splinters. It means
rising above the things that
bring you down , like
the PETTY things
that often have
names and faces---------that faculty
policy , the loudmouthed colleague ,too few
office supplies , the principal
who seemingly doesn”t
notice your efforts.
Sometimes the
petty things can
be PRETTY SIGNIFICANT. They hinder
your progress. They keep
you stressed out.They
prevent meaningful relationships with
other other colleagues .It”s time
to rise above
them.
Choose your battles.Some things
just aren”t worth
the cost of
your time and
energies,If it doesn”t
fit into your
overall plan , then file
it in the
bottom drawer and
refuse to open
it.
PETTY ISN”T
PETTY !
“ A SIGN
OF MATURITY IS
WHEN YOU GO FROM A
THICK SKIN AND
A HARD HEART
TO A TOUGH
SKIN AND A
SOFT HEART.”--- Chuck Swindoll.
